Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital & Research Centre (SVMCH&RC), one of the best tertiary-care teaching Institution in the state of Puducherry with the motto “to create a healthier society”. Our Institution is the brainchild of the renowned philanthropic educationist and visionary Shri. B. Ramachandran, Chairman of the Ramachandra Educational Trust (RET), Chennai. The trust also runs higher educational Institutions in other professional disciplines including Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedical courses and Engineering & Technology.

The Institution was started with the prime aim of comprehensive health care for all the needy population from both rural and urban areas blended with teaching, research and outreach activities.
